Demonstrates an awareness of current development in the field of specialization. Technology is rapidly changing. Reading of magazines and other technology journals and informatio is crucial for constantly staying abreast of changes. Sharing information with peers is also necessary. As a result of the above, Web design courses and RiverDeep inservices were provided to appropriate staff members as well as students and parents. The FETC is a very valuable source of new information and hopefully I will be able to attend in the future.

Participates in the development of improvement plans that support the overall school improvement plan. Workshops were provided to all high schools for teachers in the use of the Data Warehouse site. Participation was provided to NHS as the FCAT Support Team chairperson.
Learns from peers and colleagues and develops professional relationships. There is a great rapport between members of the Instructional Technology Department. Thus, vast amounts of learning and sharing occurs between colleagues. Without this cooperation, it would be extremely difficult to attempt to stay current and learn new things. Attending the FETC would be a very valuable source of new information.
